TOP FIVE BRANDING MISTAKES – small businesses make
I recently ran across a Google hangout with Julie Cottineau, Owner and CEO of “Brand Twist” and Terry Byford, a Director on the Getty Images Legal team. Together they candidly discuss the Top 5 branding mistakes small businesses make.
Being a graphic designer, I am ubber excited that they included the visual strategy of a brand!What stood out to me is that “People Do Notice” when a brand doesn’t use professional imagery.
“But of course I’m going to say something, I am a designer. It’s my job.”
Design and professional photos are an investment! And so is a good designer! It isn’t just the pretty pictures………
It is an investment in the knowledge of the graphic designer, from font & color choices to visual images, layouts and printing specs. But ALWAYS check the spelling!! (Grin)
Good designers walk the journey with you, get as excited as you do and celebrate as you launch your new brand identity.
